Tim Bugas
Director of Sales & Marketing  

Tim rejoined The Homestead in February 2012.  Tim served five years early in his career at The Homestead as National Sales Manager and Director of Sales.  As Director of Sales and Marketing, Tim will oversee all sales and marketing efforts, including developing innovative strategies for driving business from corporate and incentive groups from across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.  Tim came to us from The Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa in the Allegheny Mountains of south-central Pennsylvania, where he was the Director of Sales and Marketing since May 2010.  He held the same position with Primland, a five-star resort in Meadows of Dan, Virginia, which he helped open in 2009.  Previously, he spent seven years at Hershey Entertainment and Resort Company, serving as Managing Director of Resort Sales for four years before being promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2004.  Prior to Hershey, Tim worked as Director of Sales at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.  Tim resides in Hot Springs with his wife Teresa.

Jeff Ford
Director of Sales 


Jeff is a 25 year hospitality veteran and a Hot Springs native. His Homestead career started at the young age of 16 in housekeeping and continued with stops in various other departments before landing as a Convention Service Manager. His 10 years experience in Convention Service included 5 years as Director and his receiving designation as a Certified Meeting Professional. Jeff is responsible for the overall operations of both the Sales and Service departments and handles Virginia State Associations and Key Accounts as well as the Richmond area. He is a former President of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International - Chapter of the Virginias and Associate of the year for the Virginia Society of Associate Executives.

Scott Russell
Director of Regional Accounts 
 

Scott is a 25 year hospitality veteran and is based in Southern Pines, NC. As Director of Regional Accounts, Scott represents the Homestead to clients in Southeast and Texas. Scott returns to The Homestead where he started with Club Resorts 15 years ago. Other distinguished resorts that he has represented include; Colonial Williamsburg, Pinehurst, Ballantyne Resort and Pine Needles. A graduate of North Carolina State University, Scott has served on the Board of Directors of MPI- Carolinas Chapter and currently serves on the board of directors for the Association Executives of North Carolina.

Robin Mieras
Director of Regional Accounts 


Robin Mieras, Director of Regional accounts is a ten-year veteran of the resort's group sales effort. She is responsible for Eastern Virginia and Express Sales. Robin's wealth of experience encompasses small groups and regional accounts.

Lori Hicks
Manager, Wedding & Social Event Sales 


Lori is no stranger to Southern Hospitality, a native of the Alleghany Highlands, she began her career 20 years ago at The Homestead and after a brief tenure with The Boar's Head in Charlottesville, Virginia, Lori returns as The Homestead's Wedding and Social Event sales manager.

Rebecca Sabol Stannard
Director of Regional Accounts
 

Rebecca has rejoined The Homestead, where she started 5 years ago in Convention Services.  Over the past 8 years, Rebecca has represented Lansdowne Resort in Northern Virginia, Yonahlossee Resort and Broyhill Inn & Conference Center, both in North Carolina.  Rebecca is a graduate of Appalachian State University where she studied Hospitality & Tourism Management.  She handles Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia Corporate.

Lesly Connolly
Director of National Associations

Lesly is a 24 year hospitality veteran with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Bay Path College.  Her past hotel sales experience includes Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa, Lansdowne Resort and The Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel on the campus of George Mason University.  In addition, she has also represented Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels, and several independent boutique hotels in New England.  Lesly currently serves as Vice President, Communications for the Potomac Chapter of Meeting Professionals International.  Based in Washington DC, Lesly will be working with National Associations from across the country.

Shawn Wiseman
Sales Manager

Shawn began his career in hospitality 14 years ago at The Homestead, and with family ties to the area, he returns home to continue his career in the sales arena.  A graduate of Chowan University with a degree in Business Administration, Shawn comes to The Homestead after a successful stint in residential and commercial real estate in Raleigh.  He handles accounts in Charlotte, North Carolina as well as the states of Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida.
